Peter T. Grassi is a Partner of Grassi Investment Management, LLC. Mr. Grassi’s investment management career spans over 45 years, beginning at Davis, Skaggs and Company in 1970, where he served as Senior Vice President and Director. When Shearson/American Express acquired Davis, Skaggs and Company in 1983, Mr. Grassi continued in his role as Senior Vice President. Grassi Investment Management (GIM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Shearson/American Express, was then formed in 1984. In March of 2000 GIM became Grassi Investment Management, LLC, an independent advisory company, serving both institutions and high net-worth individuals. Mr. Grassi was born in San Francisco and is a lifetime San Francisco Bay Area resident. He attended the University of California at Berkeley. He and his wife, Carol, have been married for 62 years and have three children and five grandchildren.
