Peter E. Grassi is the Managing Partner of Grassi Investment Management, LLC. He is a portfolio manager for a wide range of institutional and high net-worth individual clients, with over 35 years of investment management experience. Peter began his investment career at Davis, Skaggs and Company in 1981 where he served as Vice President. He was then with Smith Barney and its predecessor companies from 1983 to 2000 as a Senior Vice President. Peter was a Portfolio Manager for Grassi Investment Management, from October 1997 through March 2000. Peter was born in San Francisco and is a lifetime San Francisco Bay Area resident. He attended the University of California at Berkeley where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Peter lives with his wife Paula and their daughter in Saratoga, where they are active in community activities and charities.
